At Big House Christian Academy, we seek educators and staff members who view their work as both a profession and a calling. Our team is united by a shared commitment to disciple students, pursue academic excellence, and honor Christ in all aspects of school life.

We value strong relationships and intentional discipleship. Our teachers invest in their students through prayer, mentorship, and daily classroom interactions, walking alongside them as they grow in faith, character, and leadership. We also believe in continual growth and preparation, and we encourage ongoing professional and spiritual development, including advanced training in Christian education. Several members of our faculty are currently pursuing graduate-level studies through International Baptist College and Seminary.

All staff members are expected to affirm BHCA’s Statement of Faith and model Christlike character in their personal and professional lives.

Employment requirements

All BHCA employees must meet the following requirements:

Faith & Mission Alignment

• Be a born-again Christian who agrees with BHCA’s Articles of Faith

• Sign a statement affirming support of the beliefs of Victory while working at the school and on church property
  
  

Background & Student Safety

• Hold a valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (or obtain one upon employment)

• Authorize and pass a full background screening for both the church and the school, with no disqualifying findings

• Sign an agreement for working with minors

• Obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification
  
  

Professional Conduct

• Adhere to all behavioral, lifestyle, and professional expectations outlined in the BHCA Staff Handbook

• Sign and comply with BHCA’s social media use and limitations agreement
  
  

Education Requirements

• Teachers must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher

• ACSI teacher certification
