Students build on their early Bible foundation as they study key Old Testament and New Testament accounts. They learn about faithful leaders such as Samuel, David, Daniel, Esther, and Nehemiah, discovering what it means to obey God from the heart and develop a strong biblical worldview.

Through Creation and the lives of men like Noah, Abraham, Joseph, and David, students see how sin entered the world and why we need a Savior. In the New Testament, they study the life of Jesus—His birth, miracles, death, and resurrection—and learn how the message of salvation spread through Paul’s missionary journeys.

Students are encouraged to move beyond knowledge to personal application through Bible reading, journaling, memory verses, and discussion, helping them grow in faith and apply God’s Word to everyday life.

Math with Confidence Level 4 is a full-year math curriculum designed to give fourth-grade students a deep understanding of essential math concepts through a clear, step-by-step approach. Topics include multi-digit multiplication and division, decimals, fractions, factors, geometry, measurement, and word problems. Each week combines hands-on activities, mental math, and spiral review to strengthen skills and boost long-term retention. With an emphasis on mastery, number sense, and critical thinking, Math with Confidence Level 4 helps students approach math with accuracy, fluency, and growing confidence. The lessons are engaging and easy to teach, making it ideal for both home and classroom settings.

Texts Used: Fourth Grade Math with Confidence

This course equips students with the tools they need to become clear, effective communicators. Through structured grammar and writing practice, students strengthen their understanding of sentence structure, writing style, and the full range of parts of speech. Instruction also covers sentence patterns, subject-verb agreement, punctuation and capitalization rules, and the use of proofreader’s marks.

Language instruction is closely integrated with reading and writing. Students apply grammar and mechanics skills through a variety of writing projects, including paragraph writing, summarization, cause-and-effect analysis, inference, persuasive writing, book reports, and a multi-paragraph historical essay. Emphasis is placed on clarity, organization, and applying language skills in meaningful ways.

Students engage with a rich variety of children’s literature, from timeless classics to modern selections, designed to inspire a love of reading. Thoughtfully designed texts and engaging visuals support comprehension while strengthening understanding of the written word. With an emphasis on literary elements and critical thinking, students develop strong reading skills while building a foundation for a biblical worldview.

Through activities such as character analysis, plot and setting study, text structure analysis, and creative writing, students grow in their ability to read for understanding and become increasingly independent, thoughtful readers.

This course strengthens spelling and vocabulary skills by teaching how words work through spelling rules, phonics patterns, and word study. Word lists include everyday language as well as content-area vocabulary and are organized to help students understand and apply spelling concepts with confidence. A variety of activities reinforce learning and encourage students to expand their spelling knowledge beyond the weekly list.

Each unit also provides opportunities to develop a biblical worldview, beginning with a “Word to Live By”—a Bible verse and character trait connected to a spelling or vocabulary word. Through this integration, students grow in both language skills and character development.

This course provides daily instruction and practice to help students develop neat, legible handwriting and proper letter formation. Emphasis is placed on consistency, attention to detail, and clear written communication. Lessons incorporate character-building themes, historical biographies, and engaging Word Craft activities that encourage critical thinking, creativity, and class discussion.

As the course progresses, students apply their communication skills through a focused study of creative writing. A variety of imaginative writing activities challenge students to think creatively, strengthen writing confidence, and develop effective written expression through original and purposeful writing.

This course presents American history through an engaging narrative approach that brings the nation’s story to life. Beginning with the settlement of the thirteen colonies, students explore how the United States became an independent nation, established its government, and grew into a world leader. Through a chronological study of key events and influential individuals, students gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and achievements that shaped the country.

Throughout the course, emphasis is placed on character, citizenship, and respect for the nation’s history, encouraging students to appreciate their heritage and understand the importance of standing for what is right.

This course invites students to explore the wonders of God’s creation, from the star-filled skies to the depths of the oceans. Through hands-on activities and engaging demonstrations, students develop observation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while discovering the Creator’s detailed design in the world around them.

Students explore a wide range of scientific fields through interactive learning, including plant studies, weather observation, and the study of animals. Visual demonstrations and illustrations help clarify scientific concepts such as matter, energy, force, and motion, while regular comprehension checks ensure understanding and retention. This course connects scientific principles to everyday life while fostering curiosity, discovery, and appreciation for God’s world.
