Founder/Principal
Mrs. Brady is a seasoned educator and school leader with over two decades of experience in public, private, online, and homeschool settings. She holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and has a deep passion for Christ-centered education.
Before founding Big House Christian Academy, Mrs. Brady homeschooled her children for eight years while also teaching and consulting for various Christian and online schools. Her diverse teaching background has equipped her to serve students with a wide range of academic and spiritual needs.
She holds a Standard Professional K–8 Elementary Education Certificate with an English as a Second Language (ESL) Endorsement (PreK–12). Additionally, she is certified as a school principal through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
In addition to her academic leadership, Mrs. Brady serves as BHCA’s Athletic Director. She is a certified coach through both the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) and the Canyon Athletic Association (CAA).
Co-Founder/Technology Manager
Mr. Brady is the co-founder of Big House Christian Academy and plays a key role in overseeing the school’s day-to-day operations. With a strong background in leadership and administration, he ensures that BHCA runs smoothly behind the scenes, supporting both staff and students with excellence.
He also serves on the Ministry Leadership Team at Victory Baptist Church, where he faithfully contributes as a Trustee.
Mr. Brady and his wife, Natasha, have four adult children and three school-aged children, all of whom are a part of the BHCA family.
Passionate about technology and innovation in education, Mr. Brady serves as BHCA’s Technology Manager and E-Sports Coach. He holds coaching certification through the Canyon Athletic Association (CAA) and is committed to using digital platforms to engage students in meaningful, skill-building opportunities.

A lifelong Arizona resident, he grew up in Casa Grande and graduated as a homeschool student in 2019. He went on to earn his Associate of Arts degree from Central Arizona College and a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University.
Mr. Altamirano is a certified educator through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and is passionate about using his gifts to disciple students and share the gospel through education.

Mrs. Altamirano holds a Bachelor of Arts in Family Studies, with a concentration in Child and Human Development.
Before joining Big House Christian Academy in 2023, she dedicated fifteen years to homeschooling her children. Her heart for Christian education runs in the family—her son, Mr. Aidan Altamirano, also serves as a teacher at BHCA.
Mrs. Altamirano is a certified educator through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and brings a wealth of experience and wisdom to the classroom.

Before joining BHCA, Mrs. Brown lived in New Mexico, where she taught both middle and high school students at a homeschool/school hybrid program.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education with an emphasis in Mathematics and is certified to teach through the states of Arizona and New Mexico, as well as the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
Mrs. Brown brings a passion for both math and ministry, and she is excited to partner with families in Christ-centered education.
3rd/4th Grade Teacher

Mr. Miller holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Northern Arizona University and an Associate degree in Accounting and Business from Central Arizona College.
He is joyfully married and the proud father of three adult children—one of whom, Griston Miller, also serves on staff at BHCA.
Mr. Miller has faithfully served at Victory Baptist Church in a variety of ministries, including as an Awana Director and Leader, Sunday School Teacher, and member of both the Ministry Leadership Team and Missions Team.
He is a certified educator through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and is passionate about investing in the next generation through Christ-centered education.

Mr. Griston Miller serves as BHCA’s Campus Safety Officer and Janitor, playing a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our students and staff.
He holds two Associate of Arts degrees—one in Liberal Studies and another in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Art. Outside of work, he enjoys playing chess and spending time in the gym.
Mr. Miller is the son of fellow BHCA teacher Mr. Miller and is honored to be part of a team that supports Christian education in both practical and meaningful ways.

Mrs. Perry holds a Bachelor’s degree in K–8 General Education from Grand Canyon University.
She is certified to teach through both the state of Arizona and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
Mrs. Perry and her husband are proud parents of two beautiful children. As a family, they love spending time outdoors—riding in the mountains, relaxing in their backyard, and enjoying quality time with loved ones. She brings a love for learning and a heart for students to her classroom each day.

Miss Spurlock studied Elementary Education at Central Arizona College and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brady, founders of BHCA.
Her own educational journey began with the Abeka curriculum—sounding out her first words with joy and wonder. Now, as a teacher, she has the unique privilege of passing on that same excitement, guiding young readers as they take their first steps with the very curriculum that shaped her own love for learning.

Mrs. Wilson is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Education as she continues to grow in her calling as an educator.
She and her husband have two adorable children—her daughter is a proud BHCA student, and her son is in preschool. In her free time, Mrs. Wilson enjoys playing soccer and making memories with her family. She brings warmth, energy, and a heart for children to everything she does at BHCA.
