Our 5th-12th grade classes are all full for the 2025-2026 school year. We have a few open spots in 1st-4th grade.
Complete the enrollment application. We do not accept students with major behavioral issues or whose academic needs we can’t meet. In addition, students who have been suspended or expelled from a previous school will not be admitted. Please note: We may deny enrollment at any time during the application process if BHCA is not a good fit for the child.
Complete a student/family interview. The principal will email you to arrange this after you've completed the enrollment application. All children applying for enrollment and all parents in the household must attend.
Students are required to come in for placement testing. There is a $30 fee for students in grades 3-12.
Big House Christian Academy requests previous school records before making an admission decision. Previous school records include grades/transcripts, disciplinary records, test scores, special education records, attendance records, and anything else that is pertinent.
The admissions committee will review all documentation and notes from the family interview to determine if the student and family are a good fit for BHCA. The admissions committee is looking for students with integrity, work ethic, respect, and self-control who are kind and uplifting to others. The committee looks for families who will act as good partners by supporting the school's mission, philosophy, and policies. In building a class, the committee seeks to balance temperament, academic ability, and cohesiveness. Therefore, not all students will be a good fit for BHCA.
Big House Christian Academy will email an acceptance or denial letter to the email/s on the enrollment application form. Once you have received your acceptance letter, please sign the Handbook Agreement Form. Submit the child's birth certificate and current immunization records. In lieu of immunization records, you may also submit a medical exemption form, religious beliefs exemption form, or personal beliefs exemption form.
Big House Christian Academy will email you an invoice for the registration and curriculum fee. You may pay with ESA, cash, check, or Zelle. The enrollment fee is due immediately upon acceptance. Your child’s spot is not held until this fee is paid. The curriculum fee is due by June 1, 2025 or immediately upon enrollment if you are enrolling after June 1, 2025.
$100 registration fee (one time only)
$350 yearly curriculum fee
As a private school, Big House Christian Academy reserves the right to refuse admittance for any reason. Enrollment in Big House Christian Academy is finalized when ALL of the above steps have been completed.
All enrollments are under a 30-day probationary period to ensure compatibility between the student and the school. Difficulties will be communicated to the parent from the teacher and /or Principal as early as possible, to aid in the adjustment/compatibility process. The Principal has sole discretion to make the final determination on program compatibility. Withdrawal fees will not apply if a student is withdrawn or dismissed from school during the probationary period.
