At Big House Christian Academy, we prayerfully and intentionally invest in every student who walks through our doors—not just academically, but spiritually and relationally. As a Christ-centered school, we believe that true education is about shaping hearts as well as minds.
Our approach isn’t about offering a temporary experience—it’s about forming a lasting foundation. We pour deeply into our students, walking with them in discipleship and shaping a biblical worldview that will guide them for a lifetime. This work takes time, trust, and consistency.
We understand that some families may be looking for a more typical educational path—but we offer something far more meaningful. Our 7th–12th grade community is intentionally built around shared values, spiritual growth, and strong relationships. It’s a place where students are challenged to grow in faith, character, and calling.
To help preserve the strength and unity of this community, all students in grades 7 through 12 will be required to sign an agreement form in order to attend Big House Christian Academy. This form reflects their personal commitment to fully engage in our school community, to uphold our values, and to participate wholeheartedly in both the academic and spiritual life of Big House.
We’re not simply filling seats—we’re building a kingdom-minded community, and we’d love for your family to be a part of it.

Big House Christian Academy promotional requirements are an integral part of a student’s education plan. Big House Christian Academy 8th grade students are promoted based on criteria in the following areas:
A. Academic achievement
B. Attendance
C. Behavior
Academic Criteria
Students are expected to obtain average passing grades in all subjects. Passing is defined as receiving no less than a 1.0 (D) per subject over four quarters. Students must be in grade level classes, unless they have a documented disability.
Attendance Criteria
Students are expected to maintain good attendance in order to be considered eligible for the promotion ceremony. According to Arizona Revised Statute 15-803, students are required to attend 90% of the school year.
Student Discipline Criteria
According to Arizona Revised Statutes 15-841 and 15-843, students are expected to demonstrate behaviors that allow teachers to maintain order and effective discipline within the classrooms, and administrators to maintain a safe and orderly educational environment. Thus the expectation is that a students’ behavior will not result in an out of school suspension.
Promotion Plan
If a student is not meeting these requirements after the third quarter, a promotion plan will be created with teacher, student and parent input in order to support and assist the student to improve in one or more of the areas. Communication between home and school is critical. We want to work together to ensure the student is showing growth in order to be promoted to high school.
