Under the Universal ESA expansion, all students are eligible to receive funding for their education. Students in grades 1-12 receive around $7,000-$8,000 a year. Kindergarten students receive around half the amount. Students with disabilities receive more. These funds may be used for tuition.

Big House Christian Academy does not have control over ESA. BHCA does not have access to any student's ESA accounts and does not control ESA contracts. ESA contracts are between the parent and the state of Arizona.
Step 1: Apply for ESA at https://www.azed.gov/esa.
Step 2: ESA will send you a contract to sign. This contract will show your child's quarterly ESA amount. Make sure you sign this contract if you haven't already.
Step 3: ESA will send you confirmation that you've signed your contract. You should keep a copy of this for your records.
Step 4: Around 3 weeks after you sign your contract, ESA will fund your Class Wallet account.
Step 5: When you receive funding, you will download the invoice from the school that was sent via Bank of America.
Step 6: Go to Class Wallet to pay the invoice. You will select Pay Vendor. Then you will choose Big House Christian Academy. You will follow the prompts and upload the invoice. The expense category you should choose is "tuition or fees at a qualifying school".
Step 7: After you submit the invoice in Class Wallet you will be sent a confirmation email.
Step 8: Every quarter ESA will fund your child's account and you will repeat steps 4-8.
Step 9: Every year you must sign a renewal contract from ESA. Please do not miss this, or you will not get funded again the next school year.
If you are having trouble...
If there is something the school can help you with, we will, but the school does not have any access to your child's ESA accounts or contracts.
We recommend calling ESA if you have any questions. Their number is 602-364-1969.
